I built an app called Vocab Word Study. It’s on the iOS App Store and it’s currently free.
I built it to help my 6th grade kids start to build a stronger vocabulary[1]. I didn’t like what was out there, and wanted something that:
- Is very simple and short to use on a daily basis,
- Requires them to write a sentence using the word, and
- Is very specific to the kinds of words they are going to see in literature and on standardized tests in high school and beyond.
